ThE Valley

Warramba is located at the heart of the Capertee Valley, three hours west of Sydney.

The Capertee is the widest enclosed valley in the world and is home to hundreds of protected native species and rare and endangered birds. It’s surrounded by the Wollemi, Capertee and Gardens of Stone national parks and the Mugii Murum-ban State Conservation Area. The area is recognised internationally as an Important Bird Area (IBA) and one of the 50 top birdwatching locations in the world.

Explore

Our nearest town is Rylstone, one of the oldest villages west of the Great Dividing Range. It was recently named by Australian Traveller as one of the top 10 secret spots to visit in Australia.

We are also on the doorstep of Dunns swamp, or Ganguddy as it is known in the Wiradjuri language. Ganguddy is a beautiful waterway on the Cudgegong river in the Wollemi National Park and is a perfect spot for a picnic or to go kayaking. There is also a network of easy hikes with beautiful views over the river.
